Saint Patrick's Adoremus Choir is the central choir serving the Basilica's Liturgical life and ceremonies. From its inception just
after the millennial year, the choir's focus has been to fulfill the mandate of providing church music suitable to a Basilica in
accordance with the Vatican II documents.
The choir focuses on the sacred classics that embody the rich musical heritage that belongs to the Roman Catholic Church. The Ordinary
parts of the 1215 Sunday mass are sung in latin.
The Choir has undertaken many projects, such as the 150th Anniversary of St. Patrick's Parish in 2005, the National Prayer Breakfast
on Parliament Hill and Advent Lessons & Carols.
St. Patrick's Basilica's other choirs are massed for specific occasions as we welcome associate singers to join us for the Christmas
season, the celebration of St Patrick's Day, Holy Week and Easter.
The Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the choir loft.
