Dear parishioners of Saint Patrick,

You probably remember that I made a Mission Appeal at your parish last year for creating an orphanage in Haiti. I am pleased to take this opportunity to let you know that the total amount of money I got from you was used to rent a house for three years to open my orphanage which is called “Orphanage of Our Lady of Perpetual Help”. My bishop inaugurated the orphanage last May and 13 orphans (7boys and 6 girls) live in it right now. The parents of two of those orphans were killed by the earthquake in Port au Prince last January. I am pleased to let you know that your money has made a big difference in the life of some orphans, because thanks to your generosity a group of abandoned children have a safe place to live right now.
